For a few months now I have been training with the kettlebell swing for endurance conditioning. This has been a very good exercise for me , although i've only been doing it for a few months. I discovered the exercise after searching for an alternative to running for endurance. The routine I found was from a book by Bud Jeffries on high-rep kettlebell swings. High-rep meaning upwards of 500 to 1000 reps.
I like swings more than running because it works the legs, arms, shoulders, and back. They have actually rehabilitated a shoulder that was going bad on me slowly for quite awhile. My current long term goal is to do 1,000 reps with a 75lb kettlebell.
